event description
The 2020 NCBA Spring Training Showcase will once again be held in the major market of Tampa, Florida. Spring Training games will be played at Mike Sansone Park in nearby Plant City, Florida. The complex was previously used by the Texas Rangers for their spring training activities. The Spring Training Showcase is designed to help college club baseball teams prepare for the upcoming season through practices, games and team building functions. The showcase creates the perfect environment to create a training schedule that is conducive to each team's needs. Join the NCBA at the 2020 NCBA Spring Training Showcase during your "Spring Break" as a player, team, family or fan.
Things to do
The Tampa area provides a plethora of activities during your spring break.
Visitors can bask in the sun at nearby Clearwater Beach, take in a Yankees,
Tigers, Astros, Blue Jays, or Phillies spring training game, ride the coasters at Busch
Gardens or tour historic Ybor city. There are also many golf courses and
recreational activities to enjoy. With so many things to do teams should make
sure to set aside some time to play ball.
What teams are saying...
"The NCBA Spring Training Showcase gives our team the chance not only to see a variety of competition throughout the league, but also to bond and formulate better chemistry. It is the perfect stepping stone for us to work out any flaws we have and prepare for our regular season. "

"The Spring Training Showcase gives teams a great opportunity to play different teams from around the country in a fun, yet competitive, environment. The Spring Training crew provides plenty of resources for teams to take advantage of and do a great job keeping the weeks organized. We always look at spring break as a good time to create camaraderie as a team and this week always gives us an opportunity to do so. We also have the flexibility of playing conference, non-conference or exhibition games and even practicing. So it gives teams the choice of how they want to approach the week. I recommend teams giving the showcase a try if they have not already. "
